Its humble beginnings can be traced to 2000 when Engr. ELMERITO L. TAMPIPIG, a licensed electrical engineer started a business, QUICKPAK MOVING AND STORAGE (QMS), a sole proprietor offering services in packing, crating, and domestic moving for household clients. By renting a ten (10) sq. m. office with a supervisor, a secretary, and a driver for an old truck, the company started the nationwide services.
After four (4) years of satisfying Metro Manila clients, the company extended its services worldwide and then acquired a 500 sq. m. secured space in an industrial place in Veterans Village, Taguig City to start its storage services.
In 2008, the company incorporated QUICKPAK LOGISTICS INC. (QLI), as a domestic and international mover for corporate and household clients as well as an international courier for documents and parcels. At present, QLI is a fully pledged logistics service provider for household goods and personal effects and a courier for multinational companies and industries. Its services include trucking, domestic and international shipping, worldwide courier, project cargo, and door delivery of consignment – Loose Cargo (LCL) and Full Container (FC) shipments.
Due to QUICKPAK's unprecedented growth, Records Management was introduced in the year 2009, managed by QLI to boost and assist companies with their growing needs for storage of documents and files on our racking system at a very cost-effective rate. In the year 2011, QUICKPAK RECORDS MANAGEMENT INC. (QRMI) was established for the development of archives services for the safe keeping of files. Its main services are online inventory, off-site and on-site, bar coding systems, scanning, delivery and retrieval, and destruction as well as fumigation.
To date, the company manages an expanded warehouse measuring 3,100 sq. m. covered capacity, complete with an attractive racking system designed for a 76’ x 20’ container structure. Archives have forty (40) racks exclusively for records storage and thirty-six (36) racks for personal effects and household goods, office items, and equipment. It also has highly maintained transportation logistics including four (4) units of Elf Aluminum Closed Van, Forward Aluminum Wing Van, two (2) units of L-300 Van, and three (3) units of motorbikes, all acquired to fulfill the service mission of benefiting the QUICKPAK customers.
